Dare we say that this is the most New York jam we’ve come across! It’s made from wild beach plums foraged on the sandy edges of beaches on the Great Peconic Bay and the Atlantic Ocean beaches of the Hamptons on Long Island. Beach plum is a small plum fruit that’s native to our region and grows on shrubs, especially along the coast. You’ll find that the flavor is a mix of plum and apricot with a little bit of berry sweetness.
Josephine’s Feast is an award-winning brand of preserves made from fruits farmed and foraged on Long Island. Each batch is made in Brooklyn using French copper preserving pans with the traditional method of confiture.
