On a fateful winter day two years ago, Caroline spotted this big green container at her local kitchen supply store and was immediately drawn to the charming label design. She bought it, lugged it home and started using it as her regular dish soap. While it’s designed specifically to cut the sticky, red, oily residue on dishes of an Italian restaurant or pizzeria, it’s also just a damn good dish soap. It’s made by a 95 year-old family-owned company in South Brooklyn called Glissen Chemical, who primarily make industrial cleaning products – and Pizza Suds, which is something of a family passion product. Because we know you’re wondering: the soap itself is the same kelly green as the jug and looks fabulous in a clear dispenser on your sink.
