Description
Burning bayberry candles for good luck on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve is a New England tradition that’s been around since early America. As the saying goes “For a bayberry candle burned to the socket will bring joy to the heart and gold to the pocket”.
The Helsher family has specialized in making bayberry candles or shops and historical institutions since 1974, and pride themselves on their traditional method of using a carousel dipping machine from 1850 and pure bayberry wax, which comes from the berries of bayberry shrub.
